Coffee grounds as fertilizer
We asked ourselves: What do we do with all the coffee grounds from our coffee machines?
It's too good to dispose of. Coffee grounds contain valuable nutrients such as potassium, nitrogen and phosphorus, making them ideal for high-quality, low-cost fertilization of outdoor and potted plants. By the way, pests are repelled during the natural and chemical-free fertilizing. Therefore, we provide you with the fair coffee grounds from our refectories free of charge if required.
Please contact the respective cafeteria in advance by e-mail or phone to let us know how much coffee grounds are needed and when they should be collected.
By the way: The coffee in our cafeterias is also fair trade.
