Mental strength instead of blacking out – dealing with test anxiety

A certain amount of excitement before exams promotes alertness and performance. However, if this excitement turns into test anxiety, it can become a burden that can also have a negative impact on the test results. The aim of the workshop is to develop a better understanding of the individual reasons for exam anxiety. In addition, strategies for dealing with the anxiety during preparation and in the test situation will be presented and discussed together. These include mental strategies for dealing with uncertainty, relaxation exercises, and coping with difficult exam situations and blackouts. The workshop introduces practical methods and provides a space for those affected to share their experiences.
